Movie Review: “Thor: Ragnarok (2017)”

Great fun! Sit back and be entertained. This movie is full of good humor and lots of action. The serious side is the return of Odin’s oldest child, Hela. She fought beside him and helped him gain the nine realms, but she was too violent and hidden away. Now, she’s been released and she goes home to claim what’s hers, the crown. Thor and Loki join forces to try to stop her and find themselves in trouble (again).

Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor and this time, he delivers his one-liners with ease. He teams up with Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, the Hulk or Professor Bannon played by Mark Ruffalo, and the last Valkyrie, Tessa Thompson. Cate Blanchett is outstanding in her role as Hela. In fact, I didn’t even recognize her and had to wait for the credits to find out.

The computer graphics and animation are superb. Marvel did it again.
